House of Worship Defense

Active threats in houses of worship don’t happen on a flat range. This course takes the fundamentals you already have and puts them under motion, behind cover, and inside a layout built to resemble a real sanctuary — doors, hallways, a crowd to move through, and a partner who has to move without ever touching a firearm.

You’ll work through drawing and engaging while moving off the line, clearing malfunctions without stopping, and using verbal commands and body positioning to move people to safety. Every drill is run live, one shooter at a time, under an instructor’s eye.

This class is about proving you can perform under the kind of stress a real event brings — not just at a flat range, but in the space you’d actually be defending.

What we cover

Team Commununication — range rules and commands, emergency protocols, team and crowd work.

Draw and reload fundamentals — presentation from concealment, single and multi-round strings, controlled reholstering.

Movement — moving while drawing and engaging, clearing malfunctions under time pressure.

Using cover in a real space — scenario movement through cover, verbal commands, working alongside team members and non-combatants.

Who this is for

This course is for House of Worship security team members and experienced concealed carriers who want to train movement, malfunction clearance, and use of cover in a realistic house-of-worship layout. This is not a first-handgun class. You should already be comfortable drawing, reloading, and shooting from a holster before you attend.
